The Board of Directors of the Environmental Fund and the Environmental Council members are all volunteers from the Lake Maxinkuckee community. The LMEF is the prioritizing and fundraising arm of the organization while the LMEC is made up of the volunteers who protect the lake and its wetlands through project participation. The Executive Director works for the Fund and coordinates the efforts of the Council.
